Job description
Commercial & Industrial Steam Boiler Service Engineer:
- Experienced Commercial Gas Boiler Engineer proficient in Steam and Hot Water Boilers.
- Conduct service and planned maintenance for steam-powered plant and heating machinery.
- Availability for impromptu and after-hours work is essential.
- Provide top-notch engineering support nationwide, responding to planned and ad hoc issues.
- Responsibilities include installation, repair, service, and commissioning of steam and hot water systems.
- Diagnose and resolve breakdowns and customer issues promptly and accurately.
- Support planned annual boiler inspections and burner services as needed.
- Collaborate with the Service Engineer team, offering assistance and completing documentation.
- Must reside within 1-hour drive from Clacton-on-Sea, North Essex.
- Skills required: industrial steam and hot water boilers, burner controls, excellent diagnostic abilities, and effective communication.
- Valid UK driving license and relevant gas qualifications essential.
- Desirable qualifications include 17th Edition electrical and LPG/Gas Booster certifications.
- Full-time role with Monday to Friday workdays, with weekend rotations and occasional overnight stays.
- Compensation based on experience, with fully expensed vehicle, tools, and uniform provided post-probation.
- 28 days holiday per annum, inclusive of Bank Holidays.
- Permanent UK residence and work authorization required; no relocation packages provided.
