Job Description
Duties and tasks of the Payroll Officer:
- Processing end to end payroll for monthly paid employees
- Looking at contracts and policies, ensuring all legislation is up to date
- Process pensions inline with pay and benefits liaising with HMRC for any tax and statutory deductions
- Dealing with sickness, maternity, paternity, shared parental and other statutory requirements
- Analysis of data in payrolls highlighting any discrepancies of pay and highlight variances
- Processing all regulatory returns forms including P11Ds, P60s and P45s
- Analysis and reconciliation of pay, benefits and control accounts
- Ensuring salaries and overtime hours are correct and ensure all had been inputted correctly
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Demonstrable experience in payroll and the ability to process monthly end to end payrolls
- Proven ability to analyse processes and use initiative to improve processes
