We have an exciting opportunity here at Purovets for a Lead Medical Veterinary Surgeon at a Tier 3 small animal hospital in the vibrant town of Dewsbury, nestled in the heart of West Yorkshire.

When you join the team, you will become part of a highly skilled group of Veterinary Surgeons who are passionate about providing exceptional care. Supported by a friendly team of RVNs, PCAs, and administrative staff, you will have all the resources and support you need to succeed.
As the Lead Medical Vet, you will play a pivotal role. Alongside the Surgical Lead, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding clinical and financial performance. You will also have the opportunity to lead and manage their talented veterinary team. This senior position is perfect for individuals with leadership experience who are eager to progress their career.
The hospital is an attractive building with ample client parking. Inside, you will find a welcoming environment, including a spacious waiting room with separate areas for cats and dogs. The facility boasts air-conditioned consulting rooms, fully equipped theatres, state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment (such as high-resolution X-ray and ultrasound machines), an on-site CT scanner, a dental area with oral radiography, and even a visiting MRI. Additionally, they have an in-house laboratory with immunoassay capabilities and middle-tier referrals available for surgery, ophthalmology, and imaging.

The Rota:
• Full time role - 40 hours per week
• 1:4 weekends
