Production & Supply Chain Coordinator

Job description
Working as part of the core team, the Production & Supply Chain Coordinator will have a bright and happy-to-help disposition, be extremely organised and assert themselves as one of the go-to members of the studio. The successful applicant will coordinate the UK and EU production through the entire supply chain journey, from sampling products to coordinating shipping of the final production, ensuring that the process runs as smoothly as possible. Primary Responsibilities:
- Creating and updating the production critical path to hit delivery deadlines
- Calculating and placing fabric and trim orders for production
- Establishing wholesale prices and RRP, keeping in mind costings and margins
- Ability to work across a wide variety of products from jersey to hand knit
- Develop and nurture supplier relations
- Ensure goods are high quality and in keeping the brand ethos
- Experience QCing and measuring products
- Organising the logistics process between the factory and studio to retail partners
- Working closely and collaboratively with the founder and studio team to achieve short-term and long-term goals for the brand
- Arrange and attend pre-production fittings following post-sales feedback
- Book capacity at manufacturers, keeping them informed of predicted quantities and deadlines
- Make sure tech packs and samples are sent in a timely manner
- Problem solving when necessary
- Ensure tracking of bulk production by maintaining strong communication with both domestic and overseas factories.
- Working across multiple courier services such as DHL, UPS, DPD to obtain the best prices for shipments
- Report weekly to the team on production progress and deliveries.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years' production coordinator or equivalent role experience
- A good understanding of garment construction and manufacturing
- Excellent knowledge of Zedonk
- Some knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
- Fantastic written and verbal communication skills
- A hunger to constantly improve supply chain and production processes
- Excellent organisational skills
- Experience with working with IT programs such as Excel, Outlook, Dropbox
- Experience with delegating tasks to team members
- Able to work onsite in our London studio.
- Knowledge of Shopify is desired
