Your new company
Hays are working with a consultancy who support a defence client to recruit for a permanent DV cleared Network Engineer. The role is based 5 days on site in the Wiltshire region and will pay between circa £55,000pa - £65,000pa depending on experience. Due to the secure nature of the project, the successful candidate must have current and valid DV clearance (or have SC and be able to option DV) and must be a sole British national.

Your new role
In the role you will design, implement and support cisco network infrastructure solutions. - including routing, switching and security. You will also provide technical guidance and resolution across a range of cisco networking hardware and manage the delivery of upgrades, migrations and new deployments. You'll work with wider IT teams and stakeholders to understand key requirements and delivery advice and technical network solutions. You'll also be involved with disaster recover planning for critical network services. You will implement best practice processes and principles and develop documentation for network architecture.

What you\'ll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you must be an experienced Cisco Network Engineer, experienced with high level technical design and delivery. You will also ideally need to have worked in the defence sector and have current and valid DV. (Current SC with the ability to obtain DV may be considered). You'll need excellent communication and team work skills and ideally hold relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNP or CCIE.
