£30,000 - £35,000 per annum plus benefits (depending on experience)

We provide Leadership and Management apprenticeships up to level 7 and are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Development Coach to join our team, responsible for guiding learners through their Apprenticeship programmes and ensuring an exceptional learning experience.
As our Development Coach, you will be responsible for a caseload of learners on their Apprenticeship programmes, ensuring they complete their learning within the planned timeframes and that their learning experience exceeds our customer expectations. In this role you will be responsible for the high quality delivery of Level 3 and Level 5 apprenticeship programmes including Business Administration, Team Leadership and Operations Management.
Main responsibilities of the role include:
- Develop and deliver robust learning plans for apprenticeship learners, including inductions, learning sessions, progress reviews, and provide advice, guidance, and tailored support.
- Guide and motivate learners, adapting learning plans to maintain high engagement levels.
- Ensure compliance with relevant bodies such as the Education Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) and Ofsted requirements.
- Plan and monitor learning progress, implementing support plans as needed to ensure timely achievements.
- Management and facilitation of teaching, learning, and assessment (where applicable), including innovative and dynamic adult learning practices.
- Implementing individualised learning programmes, including goal setting, to meet the specific skills needs of the learners.
- Complete timely reviews, setting SMART goals for achievements with learners and line managers.
- Manage administration of the End Point Assessment (EPA) process as required by the awarding body.
- Ensure learner safeguarding and duty of care.
What you’ll need to do the role:
- Ideally you will hold a recognised teaching qualification at Level 5 or above.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate learners and keep them engaged with the learning process.
- Ability to work independently, using own initiative and managing time effectively.
- Experience of assessing vocational qualifications in the sector subject area.
- Experience in delivering and facilitating learning and assessments.
- Sound knowledge of modern apprenticeship delivery with experience of delivering Level 3 and/or Level 5 Apprenticeship Standards.
- Understanding of teaching practices (or willingness to learn).
- Ability to maintain high quality standards and accuracy with attention to detail.
- Adaptable and flexible in approach.
- Functional skills in English, Maths, and ICT to level 2.
- Experience of working with apprenticeship e-portfolio and delivery systems would be advantageous.
