Job description

Principal Resourcing are seeking an experienced and nurturing SEN Teacher to work across the EYFS/KS1 classroom at one of our partnership schools based in Scarborough, North Yorkshire.

The full-time role is available from April 2024 to meet the needs of the school and will provide ongoing effective teaching and learning support for pupils with additional needs within the mainstream classroom and SEN hub.

The ideal applicant will have the ability to deliver a high quality and adaptive curriculum, that meets the individual needs of the children within your care. Students may present with challenging behaviours due to the nature of the role, therefore a calm, approachable manner is essential to de-escalate situations before they arise and support the diverse needs of pupils.

Previous experience working with SEN children is desirable to ensure a consistent, effective approach to learning and development that supports children to progress to the best of their ability in challenging circumstance. You will be expected to ensure a holistic approach to education that encompasses the physical, social, emotional and academic needs of pupils in a positive learning environment.

We welcome applications from ECT's and experienced Teachers, you can expect to earn up to £230 per day depending on experience.
