Semi-Senior Accountant – Established Practice – Luton
About the Company: Our client is an established practice that is embracing technology and seeking dynamic team members to join them.
About the Opportunity: They are seeking a highly motivated, AAT qualified accountant that shares their focused mindset.
About the Responsibilities: Joining as Semi-Senior Accountant, you will be providing services to clients operating across various industries. This role will involve:
- Year End accounts preparation
- VAT/SATR Reviews
- Preparation of HMRC documents.
- VAT & SATR Preparation
- Training of junior team members
- Tax registrations
- Bookkeeping management
- Management information preparation
- Journal postings
- Supporting audits
About the Applicant: They are looking for an ambitious candidate, someone who thinks outside the box and is willing to go above and beyond the expectations of clients, to help develop profitable long-lasting relationships.
They require someone who:
- AAT Qualified with a minimum of 2-3 years experience in an accountancy practice.
- Experience of Xero/Dext software is advantageous
- Organised, self-motivated, eager to learn and progress.
- Enthusiastic, with a can-do attitude
- Possesses excellent attention to detail
- Capable of building strong relationships internally and externally
- Able to remain calm under pressure
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to balance workloads to manage the needs of various clients
