Job description
We are supporting an award winning and established business based near Kidderminster as they look to recruit a Finance Analyst / Management Accountant to join their finance team in this exciting and diverse role. You will provide robust analysis across various financial information as well as management accounting. You will need experience of providing finance business partnering in a Group environment. Other involvement will include maintenance of standard costs and investigation of variances. This position offers working from home once established in the role.
Roles & Responsibilities
Business Partner to the Group Operations director to identify and evaluate efficiency savings
Presentation of weekly KPIs to board directors
Assist in conducting post implementation reviews on Capex projects to ensure targeted cost savings are being met
Assist/Produce weekly & daily Flash reports and analysis
Assisting in the production of management accounts and provide detailed analysis
Analysis and calculation of standard costs
Maintenance of Bill of Materials on the Sage system
Performing costing reviews
Stock control & Analysis
Liaising with production managers on cost variances
Assisting with production of annual budgets and forecasts
Skills, abilities & behaviours
Experience of working in a manufacturing business
Ability to liaise and partner with non-financial managers
Excellent visual and verbal presentation & business analysis skills
Part or Newly Qualified ACCA/CIMA
Advanced level Excel Skills
Ability to analyse large volumes of data
Experience in BI systems would be advantageous
