Toolmaker (Press or Injection Moulding) – Job Summary:

We’re supporting our client, an Automotive leader specialising within the Injection Moulding & Press industries based in Sutton Coldfield, who are looking for a Toolmaker to join their growing team. The successful Toolmaker will have experience in maintenance and repair of either Injection Mould Tooling or Press Tooling.

Salary:                         £35,000 +

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and modification of mould/press tooling
• Refurbishment, repair, modification and servicing of mould tools.
• Responsible for single or Multi-cavity Tooling
• Strip down, build and assembly of Tooling
• Follow tooling instructions as directed
• Ensure all tools are running efficiently in Production run mode
• Complete and record all TPM checks
• Undertake Fault analysis and corrective actions when required

About You:

• Previous experience as a Toolmaker or in a similar role is essential
• Time served apprenticeship or relevant qualifications are essential
• Experience repairing various sized tooling
• Understanding of tooling processes
