Job Title: Mobile App Developer
About the business: We are a dynamic and innovative company seeking an experienced Mobile App Developer to join our team. Our suite of mobile Apps is continuously evolving, and we are looking for a talented individual with expertise in both Android and iOS development. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing our existing applications and creating cutting-edge new features. Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, test, and maintain our mobile apps for both iOS and Android platforms.
* Participate in code and design reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
* Identify and troubleshoot software issues to ensure a seamless user experience.
* Research and stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in mobile software development.
• Security: Implement and adhere to security best practices to safeguard user data and application integrity.
• Optimisation: Identify and implement performance optimisation techniques to ensure optimal application performance, responsiveness, and scalability across different devices.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years of experience in mobile app development or equivalent.
* Proficiency in Xamarin (Native and Forms) and/or .NET-IOS/.NET-Android.
* Strong knowledge of C# .NET.
* Solid experience in unit testing.
* Proven track record in developing and maintaining successful mobile applications.
Desired Skills and Experience:
* Excellent understanding of good mobile user experience principles.
* Experience using GitHub and Microsoft App Center CI/CD for continuous integration and deployment (experience using Azure DevOps CI/CD would be useful)
* Familiarity with Apple and Android signing and provisioning processes.
Team Structure: You will be joining a collaborative team consisting of five developers. The team works together to achieve project goals and foster creative problem-solving.
Work Arrangements:
Initially, this role will require a significant presence in the office. However, once integrated into the team, you will have the flexibility to work remotely for two days a week, with the remaining three days in the office. Our office days are optimised for productive meetings and discussions.
Benefits: We offer competitive salaries ranging from £40,000 to £60,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
