Job description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Human Resources Assistant to join our HR team at Almond care.

As a Human Resources Assistant, you will be passionate about people and be an excellent and confident communicator. You will be a great team player, highly personable and take a proactive approach to your role. A large part of the role would be supporting our HR Manager and therefore the ideal candidate will be someone who is very creative and enthusiastic about delivering training.

Main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

· Provide a comprehensive, confidential Human Resources support to all employees at Almond Care to support the achievement of our vision and goals.

· Supporting Operations/HR Manager with all aspects of HR administration, Responding to HR admin request to SLA deadlines

· Assist and work with the Human Resources Team to operate an effective and efficient Human Resources Department to ensure compliance with Almond Care policies and current legislation.

· HR onboarding/ compliance, responsibility for HR data integrity / security to ensure compliance with GDPR requirements.

· Support various processes including onboarding/ recruitment, HR Administration.

· Being the first point of contact to acknowledge and assist employees daily. Providing immediate responses and in line with our standards.

· Coordinating and maintain the administration of the full employee life cycle.

· Manage all the administration of the companies training and induction programme.

· Actively assist with the organisation of all social events for employees and play an active role in our social, community and wellbeing activities.

· Prepare & coordinate the communication of employee benefits.

· Maintain the general administration of the department and ensure all relevant data is inputted and updated weekly.

· Minute taking in HR meetings.

· Monitoring employee development plans

· Setting up meetings & preparing relevant documentation

· Sickness Absence management, holding return to work interviews.

· Generating employee letters for absence, pay, contractual changes, disciplinaries,

· Ensuring Employee Records are kept up to date on HR Management System

· Assist the Human Resources team with additional projects as and when assigned.

· Contribute in maintaining an excellent level of service

· Liaising with all levels of stakeholders to enhance/ build relationships.

· Use of HR systems – training provided

Previous experience

Proven experience within an HR role in a fast-paced environment is desired for this position with strong working skills in MS Office, including Excel is essential. We anticipate applicants will have worked in a similar role within the Care Industry.

· HR admin / volume experience.

· Proven attention to detail

· A first-class communicator / influencer with a positive and friendly attitude

Qualifications:

· Ideally CIPD level 3 qualified
