Accounts Payable Clerk - Shipping

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

Office: St James/Green Park

Hybrid: 4 days a week in office

Key Responsibilities:

* Engaged in daily operational accounting tasks

* Responsible for ERP processes including accounts payable, cash management, accounts receivable, and general ledger

* Handling invoice and staff claim processing for accounts payable

* Validating receipts for accounts receivable

* Managing payments and conducting bank reconciliations for cash management

* Preparing and inputting journal entries for month-end accruals and prepayments

* Assisting with the annual audit by preparing schedules and addressing audit queries

* Providing support and assisting with ad hoc tasks as needed

Profile:

* 3-5 years of experience in a similar role

* Practical experience within finance in the shipping industry

* Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities

* Familiarity with ERP system and large volume ideal
