Junior Mechanical Design Engineer

We are working with a Worldwide company that has an exciting career opportunity for a professional Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to learn and grow within the business. This position provides a dynamic work environment with diverse tasks, allowing you to utilise your technical skills in practical engineering applications. You'll have the opportunity to design and work on bespoke automated machinery servicing the food industry.

The Role of the Junior Mechanical Design Engineer-

• Design of Special Purpose Machinery.
• Design of whole life cycle from concept to installation.
• Both 2D and 3D CAD design work.
• Responsible for producing Bill of Materials.
• Communication with Customers.

Skills as a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer -

• Have a good mechanical understanding.
• Be proficient in CAD packages such as Solidworks or Autodesk Inventor.
• Outstanding proficiency in problem-solving.
• Qualification or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• 37.5-hour week with a 3 pm finish on Fridays.
