Sales Development Manager
Learning Platform (Start-up)
Hybrid - London 2 days per week
Salary: 60-70k plus 10% commission
Futureheads have partnered with an ambitious coaching platform that are heavily investing in their digital transformation to support their continued success and growth. To date they have been delivering a great product and service without needing digital service but they have identified to scale this is an integral step.
They are now in the final stages of releasing their new platform which is in beta and final testing with select clients before being launched. The digital delivery has been driven by an interim team and the focus for 2024 is build their own permanent team and one of the key roles is Sales Development Manager to ensure continued growth and sales through new and existing clients.
Ideal candidate:
- Have worked in b2b environment working with FTSE 250 and 100 clients with a blackbook of HR/People contacts
- Worked in a Coaching/HR/Education/People/Wellbeing platforms being sold into enterprise level clients
- Comfortable building out sales function from scratch taking new products to market
- Super driven and comfortable challenging the business to improve and develop existing or new solutions to drive sales and growth
- Be autonomous and comfortable being the only sales development manager but knowing this is an opportunity for further growth and leadership
Key responsibilities:
- Generate new leads for coaching, nurture prospects and help client directors secure large deals.
- Working closely with the new head of marketing and client management teams to identify potential client and tailor pitches that showcase the value of the new coaching platform and product
- Scouting for new and existing clients and specific markets, departments, or teams through research and data analysis to identify their needs and pain points.
- Prospect and generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media outreach, and networking.
- Matching of prospective client needs with the range of products and services offered by the business
- Identification of key decision makers, budget holders, and other key stakeholders in targeted businesses and making appropriate first contact for Client Directors.
- Work with Marketing to target relevant audiences, messaging, and channels to drive leads.
- Qualify leads for the Client Directors by engaging in meaningful conversations to determine their level of interest, budget, and decision-making authority.
