Connect Appointments have a new opportunity for an experienced Shovel Driver to join our Polmont based client.
What's on offer?
- Week One: Monday to Thursday, 6:30am to 4:30pm & Friday, 6:30am to 4pm
- Week Two: Sunday, 9pm to 6:30am & Monday to Thursday, 8:30pm to 6:30am
- £13.94 per hour
As a Shovel Driver your duties and responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Operating machinery in a safe and efficient manner
- Loadout of material onto vehicles
- Perform any other task given within your capabilities
- Operating shovel whilst loading and unloading materials in the yard.
- Ensuring that the standard of the yard is maintained and kept clean and tidy.
- Handling the product with care to ensure minimum damage at all times.
- Carry out pre-use checks on shovel and report any damage/faults to manager.
- Grease shovel as per maintenance schedule.
- Adhering to all Health and Safety compliance policies and procedures in place.
- Any other reasonable request by a manager.
To be successful within this position you will hold a valid license, with previous experience operating a Loading Shovel in a similar fast-paced working environment.
