Description
Credit Control Team Leader - Guildford
- To manage and develop your team members (6 people) to enable successful delivery of agreed activity and targets.
- To set targets for your team in agreement with the Head of Credit and manage your team for the successful achievement of these targets.
- Develop suitable communications strategies with internal and external clients for your team to maximise their effectiveness in debt management and to achieve agreed targets.
- Achieve agreed KPI's for you and your team with the Head of Credit that enable the monitoring of progress towards achieving agreed targets. To monitor and report on team performance by providing weekly/monthly KPI reports and other performance reporting as required,
- Drive continuous improvement to processes and highlight areas for concern or need for change with Head of Credit. Train team in any changes to process ensuring that documentation of these changes is up to date and agreed by audit committee.
- To be available to provide back-up and support to other Credit Team Leaders as required.
- To liaise with internal departments, invoices/fee-lines are raised, queries resolved, and account adjustments are actioned on a timely basis.
- To promote and sustain a constructive, supportive and professional working relationship with all customers and colleagues.
- In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed below, the job holder is required to perform other duties assigned by the Head of Credit or the Finance Director from time to time.
Profile
A successful candidate will have strong excel skills. cash collection experience & line management experience
