Job Description
- Managing the company's credit control function.
- Ensuring timely and effective collection of all debts and customer payments.
- Negotiating repayment plans.
- Processing and reconciling invoices and payments accurately and timely.
- Reducing and mitigating company risk and potential financial losses.
- Maintaining contact with clients to ensure invoices are clear for payment.
- Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices.
- Preparing reports and maintaining accurate records of all chasing activity.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Controller should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- Experience in a credit control position within the Industrial / Manufacturing industry.
- Strong numerical skills and an ability to accurately work with financial data.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- An understanding of relevant legal requirements.
- A customer-focused approach and an ability to build relationships with clients.
