Forseven, a revolutionary company looking to transform the EV industry through cutting-edge technology and innovative engineering practices, is seeking an exceptional Manufacturing Process Engineer – Body to join our highly skilled and dynamic Manufacturing Team.

This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity out of one of our offices near Guildford, Coventry or Bicester where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field.

What's the opportunity

Reporting to the Manufacturing Process Lead, you will play a pivotal part in defining, developing and validating manufacturing processes, whilst in collaboration with existing and new partners to ensure we meet standards in line with our contract manufacturer. What you will do:

• Reviewing designs and providing solutions into the engineering teams on design for manufacture and assembly requirements.
• Liaising and supporting the contract manufacturer to resolve complex issues and provide solutions
• Defining and implementing processes to deliver functional and geometric requirements to meet opex and capex targets
• Leading and supporting virtual series and physical trials to support programme delivery
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to validate the readiness of key technologies.

Who you are:

• An engineering degree or relevant experience demonstrating capability.
• Experienced in successfully leading the definition, development and validation of body assembly/structure processes
• Experience of working within automotive sector (desirable)
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Flexibility required to travel occasionally.
• Obtain a ‘can do’ attitude and are always focused on achieving great results
