Job description

As a domestic plumber, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the maintenance and repair of plumbing systems in the local community. You will be responsible for responding to a wide range of plumbing issues, addressing emergencies promptly, and providing high-quality service to residents within North Tyneside.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair plumbing issues in residential properties.
• Install, maintain, and repair domestic plumbing systems.
• Work independently and collaboratively as part of a responsive repairs team.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and reports of work completed.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional demeanour.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience as a domestic plumber.
• CSCS card.
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in the trade.
• Gas tickets would be preferred.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Asbestos awareness.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in emergency situations.
