Job description

What you will do in your working day

• Planning and carrying out exciting activities to suit individual children and to encourage creativity, development, coordination, independence, self-expression, and learning
• Ensuring health and safety is meticulous at all time
• Working as part of a team
• Maintain a positive attitude at all times with children, parents, carers, visitors and work colleagues

The training you will be getting

• This apprenticeship is work based and therefore training will take place at the workplace
• The successful candidate will work towards an Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprenticeship with Vocational Training Services
• Functional Skills English and maths will also be completed if required
• Training will include paediatric first aid qualification 

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Once qualified to level 3, you will possibly take on extra responsibilities and apply for room leader positions if they become available.
