Quality Technician II – Electronics Test – £30K

About the Role
This is a key role to ensure the delivery of high quality PCBAs and other electronics components to our production build team. You will carry out electrical testing and fault finding of PCBAs, ensuring that you schedule testing to meet production requirements.
You will coordinate containment and corrective actions, measuring and communicating supplier performance.
You will be responsible for identifying opportunities for continuous improvement of our products, processes and test equipment and will conduct internal product quality audits.
About You
You will have completed an appropriate engineering qualification, for example a City & Guilds, HNC and be trained in electrical inspection and measuring techniques, ideally to IPC610 and/or 620 specialist.
You will have proven experience of electronics/PCBA quality inspection and test and a proven ability to interpret engineering specifications.
It would be advantageous for you to have experience in fault finding on product failures, and experience of the IPC610/620 and ISO9001:2015 standards.
You will have the ability to work with a flexible and solutions focused approach, in an agile and fast paced environment, whilst maintaining a systematic approach to dealing with problems and non-conformances. You must also be able to work collaboratively with high quality standards and an excellent attention to detail. You will be able to work on your own initiative and manage your time effectively. You will be able to organise and present data effectively.
