Background
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual looking for a varied role incorporating prospective student engagement within the community and associated administration. This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys an active, creative and engaging role, working closely with internal colleagues and external organisations such as schools, colleges, the NHS, employers, the STEM Hub and charities. The role also includes attending events and delivering activities at schools and colleges, and for this reason, use of a car to attend the events and transport resources is essential. Additionally, talking to potential students about the university and the health courses and presenting to potential applicants will be a key part of this role.
The Health and Care Engagement Officer will provide high quality administrative support for the Engagement & Events Leads as well as working closely with the Health Faculty Events team.
As part of the team, day-to-day activities will include:
• Planning, attending and delivery of both virtual and on-campus engagement and recruitment events and activities
• Ensuring the applicants to our health courses receive a positive and informative experience
• Engaging with colleagues and external stakeholders
• A variety of administrative tasks including scheduling and creation of activity resources
• Collating and managing data to provide tracking and statistical analysis reports
• Having the opportunity to further develop both professionally and personally and learn a variety of new skills
Who are we looking for?
You will be educated to GCSE standard or an equivalent with experience of providing direct administrative support. An understanding of the applicant and student journey and/or events would be desirable.

Additional Information
The role is currently hybrid, but the requirements of the business and the role determine the rota. The contract is for full time on campus if required. It is the post holder's responsibility to ensure they have the appropriate business use cover included in their car insurance policy to use their car for events at locations that are not their main location of work (CCCU North Holmes Road Campus) and outside of their regular commute.
