This permanent Reliability Engineer role is working on a site investing over £50million into expansion and upgrade projects across the operation. This role is working on a chemical site of one of the largest global producers of the specialist chemical product manufactured across their sites. To maintain their status as a market trailblazer within the sector, this organisation has ambitious but stable expansion and investment strategies covering the next 5-10 years in which the Reliability Engineering team will be key in supporting.

Responsibilities of the Reliability Engineer:-

• Collating statistics, carrying out analysis and addressing issues from any Mechanical reactive maintenance to prevent reoccurrence.
• Conducting reviews of the Mechanical preventative maintenance programme and work practices to ensure the correct asset care programme is applied to all assets to deliver the needs of the customer.
• Managing and delivering Mechanical sustenance projects to address equipment dependability or obsolescence risks.
• Manage the programme of thermography and ultrasound analysis to identify and remediate potential risks to equipment or energy utilisation savings and efficiencies
• Drive Mechanical FMECA process.

To be successful in this position as an Reliability Engineer you will be qualified to a minimum of HNC level in a Mechanical discipline. Ideally, the successful Reliability Engineer will have a background working within chemical manufacturing or high hazard operations.
