Job description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an efficient, organised Health and Social Care Trainer to join our Adult Social Care Team.
Adada Recruitment and Training Services (A.R.T.S.) are looking to recruit a Adult Health and Social Care Trainer to support our services, by delivering and coordinating the successful completion of mandatory training for our workforce.
A successful candidate will take responsibility for ensuring that our clients receive high quality person-centred care, by training all Carers in the field to have the skill, expertise and confidence to support our clients in their day to day lives.
Hence, the role does not only include face-to-face classroom training but offers the opportunity for the successful candidate to carry out performance and competency checks within the community.
We are looking for a dynamic and independent professional with solid care and people management experience and a flexible, enthusiastic individual, with a 'can-do' attitude to join our growing and progressive team.
Duties:
Conduct training sessions for new employees to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their job effectively.
Carry out refresher training as required and in line with CQC requirements.
Develop and implement training programs that align with company goals and objectives.
Create training materials, including presentations, handouts, and online resources.
Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions using a variety of instructional techniques.
Assess trainee performance and provide feedback to help them improve.
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance training programs.
Report to and develop training content with the Training Centre Manager to respond to changing training needs and client feedback
Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvements.
Requirements for the role:
A minimum of NVQ level 3 in health and social care is essential.
Level 3 in Education & Training (PTLLS) or higher
Experience in delivering training to healthcare professionals (2 years minimum)
Significant experience and strong understanding of the Health and Social Care Industry (3 years minimum)
Skills:
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively deliver information to diverse audiences.
Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate trainees.
Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
Ability to adapt training methods to accommodate different learning styles.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple training projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in using training software and tools.
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
