Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Aston Institute of Photonic Technologies (AIPT).

Your duties will include supporting experiments on designing and characterising fibre lasers in the context of metrology applications.

The successful applicant should have, at a minimum, an outstanding BSc or equivalent qualification in physics or engineering and practical experience in laser engineering. Applicants holding a Master of Science degree in Physics and Electrical Engineering are especially encouraged to apply.
