The Role
Hain Daniels are currently recruiting for a Engineering Apprentice at our Clitheroe site. In Clitheroe, we manufacture traditional hot puddings under our Farmhouse Fare brand, as well as our own private label puddings.
The Engineering Apprentice will assist the Shift Engineers with their daily tasks and inspections; they will be expected to help on breakdowns and will be expected to carry out simple plant inspections. They will be an important member of the engineering team and must possess good interpersonal skills. The correct individual will be looking for a long term career as a fully qualified Engineer.
They must also ensure that the work areas are always left clean and tidy and follow the Companies Policies on Health and Hygiene when working in the factory environment.
The ideal candidate will have a full UK driving license, and own transport. Our site is not on a public transport route.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out simple tasks when instructed and show initiative to help with any Continuous Improvements around the site.
Learn to know tools required by the shift engineer and have them ready as requested.
