Job Description

Reporting to the Finance Director, as an  Accounts Assistant you will play a key role behind the scenes by supporting the accounts department 

What will your Role include?

• Receipt processing
• Creating and obtaining purchase orders
• Credit Control
• Bank reconciliation
• Preparation of payroll
• Liaising with other team members to ensure receipts are provided in a timely fashion
• Ensuring suppliers have provided the correct documentation
• Preparation of monthly supplier payments
• Other administrative functions such as answering the telephone, filing, scanning etc

What you are already good at:

You will be a team player who can work with people at all levels and in different work areas to support delivery of the finance function to the wider firm.  You will have the following skills:

• Genuine interest in developing a long-term career in accountancy
• Excellent IT and Numeracy skills
• Excellent communication skills, both over the phone and via email
• An analytical mind with excellent attention to detail
• High levels of integrity, openness and approachability
