Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Veterinary Nurse looking for an exciting new challenge? Our client, a well-established small animal practice located in the beautiful town of Middlesbrough, is seeking a dedicated individual to join their friendly and experienced team as a Senior Veterinary Nurse; a role which promises exciting challenges and opportunities for growth.
Situated near the mouth of the River Tees and north of the North York Moors National Park, this well-established practice offers an ideal location for families and outdoor enthusiasts. The clinic has been awarded silver status by the ISFM cat-friendly clinic and is a RCVS accredited practice.
The successful candidate will be joining an established team of 5 Vets, 4 Nurses, 2 student nurses, 2 Veterinary Care Assistants, and 5 Client Care Advisors. You will see a wide variety of interesting medical and surgical cases on a daily basis.
The practice is fully-equipped with state-of-the-art technology including Digital X-ray, Ultrasound, X-ray, an In-house laboratory, Dentistry, Tonopen, Orthopaedics and much more. They also have separate cat and dog wards and waiting areas.
Within the nursing team our client aims to achieve ultimate job satisfaction from carrying out in-depth nursing clinics, anaesthesia, radiology and laboratory work to schedule three procedures. The ideal candidate will therefore have experience in all the above and be comfortable being a clinical coach to newly qualified RVN's in practice. This role involves supporting and motivating the nurse team to achieve the best client experience possible.
The Role:
• Full Time role - 4 day week
• 1:5 Saturday mornings (9am - 12.30pm)
• No OOH and No Sundays
