Rediscover the joy of being a vet. We are looking for an experienced vet to join our team of vets where going above and beyond for the animals and clients in our care is encouraged and supported. We are a friendly vet owned independent practice with a focus on ‘doing the right thing’ so that we have a good relationship with our clients based on trust. We have a very long-established team with a lot of experience. We have certificate holders in Imaging and Small Animal medicine and BCVA accredited TB, Johnes and BVD advisors.
About Us
The Forum Veterinary Practice (Benson and Babb) is a very busy independent mixed 7 full-time vet single site practice- 70% small, 30% farm animal (no routine TB testing) based in Cirencester (voted in the top 10 places to live in the UK!). We have a wonderful, loyal client base and varied caseload which provides an extremely satisfying balance of work with great continuity of care for patients, clients, and ourselves. We work as a team and as an independent practice are able to be flexible, understanding and supportive without the corporate constraints and pressures that exist in many other practices today.
Location
Cirencester is in the heart of the Cotswolds. We are surrounded by beautiful countryside including the Cotswolds Water Park but also with easy access to London, Bristol, Swindon, Gloucester and Cheltenham.
The Package
We offer a 4.5-day week working8.45am to 6pm(with an enforced 1-hour lunch break). We have a 1 weeknight a week and a 1:6 weekend on-call rota with time off in lieu of weekends worked (all with experienced back up available at all times). Salary £45,000 to £75,000 depending on experience. The balance of small animal and farm animal work can be tailored to the individual.
