Amazon seeks a Finance Analyst to support its growing European Amazon Advertising business and analysis for Video products. This role is an exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest growing divisions within Amazon. We are breaking fresh ground and pioneering a crucial platform for future Amazon growth. Key job responsibilities The candidate will be an experienced and highly motivated individual who will assist with financial controllership and analytical insights on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis. They will conduct in depth analysis to uncover opportunities or risks and help advise leadership across input metrics and strategic initiatives. The role will work closely with sales and product teams. This role requires an individual with exceptional analytical abilities, outstanding business acumen, strong partnership skill and a strategic thinker. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, and an ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. Primary responsibilities include: 1) Financial controllership, reporting and planning. 2)Build reports to provide Analytical insights on input metrics and strategic initiatives. 3) Delivering actionable insights and recommendations. Responsible for weekly & monthly reporting to business partners and deep dive into relevant insights 3) Reporting and tracking against relevant initiatives - Tracking and measurement. 4) Collaboration with sales and product teams. 5) SQL query writing and review A day in the life Weekly reporting for various stakeholders, including sales teams, product teams and supply teams. Deep dive into insights to help drive sales team efforts where opportunities exist Monthly and quarterly reporting with opportunities and risks About the team The video Advertising finance team is a fairly new team in this fast growing division. We are entrepreneurial and have a bias for action with a broad mandate to experiment and innovate. We work across Prime Video Ads, Prime Video Sports, Freevee, Twitch, FireTv, OLV and more We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: London, GBR BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)- Experience in financial modeling, P&L management or analysis PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - MBA, or CMA - Experience working with stakeholders - Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligenceJob tags
