Sales Manager

Job Title: Sales Manager

Hours:  40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

Location: Newport, Shropshire, TF10 7BX

Part of the Dunstall Holdings Groups, Rea Valley Tractors (RVT) was established over 30 years ago and is a leading regional agricultural machinery dealer. We supply an extensive range of agricultural machinery throughout Shropshire, Staffordshire, Derbyshire, mid and North Wales, Cheshire and Lancashire and also sell high-quality used equipment across the UK and abroad. We have seven depots in Newport (Shropshire), Shrewsbury, Sudbury, Welshpool, Middlewich, Ormskirk and Denbigh.

About the Role

Responsible for sales operations at the depot as well as direct selling to key customers in the territory. Implementation of the sales strategy, sales vision, annual objectives and sales processes. Informs Sales Professionals of parts and service offers to promote to customers.

Responsibilities
On a day-to-day basis you will (this list is not exhaustive):

• Maintains effective sales processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
• Applies annual sales departmental goals and budget, in alignment with the organisations financial and operational goals 
• Monitors and shares competitor activities with the TSM’s
• Leads, motivates, and supervises the sales team within the depot.

Candidate Requirements

• Sales and Sales management experience (not essential)
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Familiar with agricultural machinery and our competitors products
