We have a great new opportunity for a Client Accountant to join a leading provider of legal services in Jersey.

Key Responsibilities:

Working within the Jersey Client Accounting team and reporting into a Client Accounting Services Manager, this role will be responsible for maintaining the day to day integrity of ledgers, assisting in the preparation of financial statements along with attending client board meetings and presenting financial information.

In this role you will be the central point of contact for external auditor liaisons for a number of clients, developing strong relationships with clients and other internal teams and service lines. You will be managing the day to day integrity of the client ledgers and reviewing the input of bookkeepers.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Preparing and ensuring procedures and controls are maintained and followed at all times
• Routine month end / quarter end management accounts preparation for a portfolio of clients
• Preparing annual Financial Statements for a portfolio of clients
• Preparing and reviewing audit supporting information and schedules
• Complete bookkeeping for a variety of different clients
• Tracking and monitoring the preparation of financial information
• Proactive identification of process improvement and service line development opportunities
• Carry out all aspects of role in accordance with relevant policies, procedures and controls
