Position Overview:
Our client is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join their dynamic team. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of their tax compliance and planning processes. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring their organization meets its tax obligations while identifying opportunities for tax optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Tax Compliance:
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns.
- Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations.
Strategic Tax Planning:
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize the organization's tax position.
- Identify opportunities for tax savings and risk mitigation.
Tax Advisory:
- Provide expert tax advice to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with external tax advisors as necessary.
Financial Analysis:
- Conduct financial analysis to assess the tax implications of business decisions.
- Advise on the tax implications of various financial transactions.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the tax team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Provide guidance on complex tax issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Proven experience as a Tax Manager or in a similar tax leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent strategic and analytical thinking.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
