Job description

Carbon60 are recruiting for a (building management system) BMS Service Engineer to work with a waste, water and energy management solutions client of ours, working across the South (with occasional national travel).

These BMS service engineer position is on a temporary to permanent basis and has become available due to continued growth and expansion. The ideal candidate is someone who has a clean UK driving licence and is happy to travel across the UK.

Role Responsibilities:

• Carry out maintenance activities on BEMS systems on clients sites.
• Design, install and commission new installations or upgrades.
• Providing advice on appropriate control strategies for building services systems and application of the latest Building Energy Management technologies.
• Work with associated control devices including communication networks, communication protocols, field wiring and field devices.
• Be an active member of the design review team to propose and scrutinise control and monitoring solutions.
• Ensure that administration requirements are completed on time and all necessary documents/records maintained accurately.

Skills and Experience required:

• Electrical qualification (ONC/HNC or equivalent)
• Experience working on TREND BMS system - ideal, but others can be considered
• Experience of using Mbus networks and some experience of heat, steam, electricity, heat or water metering
• Experience of fault finding
• Clean Driving licence & happy to travel across UK
• An excellent communicator - written and verbal

Rates are from: £14.42 - £25 per hour depending on experience. Plus company car and allowance.
