Job description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Security Supervisor to join our team in Yate.
The purpose of the role is to provide an efficient and professional security service to Samsic UK Security’s clients as specified, demonstrating the highest levels of Customer Service; presenting at all times a smart, alert, visible and commanding security presence.
· Pay Rate: £13.06p/h
· Average Weekly Hours: 50hrs pw
· Shift Pattern: Mon-Fri (06:00-18:00)
· Employee Status: Permanent/ Full Time
Responsibilities
- Be the main point of contact for security related issues on site
- Supervise the site's security operation and ensure all duties are undertaken
- Provide reports to the client/management as necessary
- Train and develop the security team
- Assist with scheduling, ensuring all shifts are covered
- Conduct patrols of site
- Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
- Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
- Secure all exits, doors and windows after the end of operations
- Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts
- Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions
- Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
- Provide assistance to people in need
Requirements
- Proven experience as a security supervisor
- Valid frontline Door Supervisor or Guarding licence
- Ability to train a small team
- Can-do attitude
- Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
- Familiarity with report writing
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills
- Tech-savvy with experience in surveillance systems
- Trained in First Aid
