Job Title: Teaching Assistant (SEN Experience Preferred)

Location: Bedworth

Are you a compassionate and experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in Bedworth? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated individual to join our team, as a Teaching Assistant. Previous experience working with SEN students is advantageous, and comfort with providing personal care as required is essential.

Role and Responsibilities:

Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored support and guidance to students with SEN.
Provide one-to-one support to students with additional needs, ensuring they have equal access to learning opportunities.
Support students with personal care tasks when necessary, maintaining dignity and respect at all times.
Help create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that promotes the academic, social, and emotional development of all students.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure the individual needs of students are met.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably with experience working with SEN students.
Comfortable and confident in providing personal care assistance when required.
Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Empathetic and patient approach towards supporting students with diverse needs.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
