We are the number one UK headquartered software provider and are forecasted to grow to a global population of over 12,000 employees by 2026.

What are we all about?

At Access, we love software and how technology never stays the same. It's this obsession that drives us to work closely across sectors to understand the business needs of our customers, from Hospitality to Manufacturing to Not for Profit to Construction, and many more. We're passionate about helping our customers stay one step ahead of the challenges facing their industry and business, currently helping over 60,000 customers to have the freedom to do more.

About you:

You are a dynamic, skilled QA Engineer with a passion for technology and a keen sense of pride in the work you do. You are a strong team player who thrives on close collaboration with your colleagues and takes shared ownership of the development pipeline along with the team. You are focused on delivering high-quality solutions to given timelines and are comfortable in an agile scrum environment.

You will be expected to mentor more junior members of the team, contribute to planning sessions, architect technical solutions, and guide the technical evolution of products.

Day-to-day, you will:

  1. Work with and improve our internal Quality Assistance process within a fast-moving, agile environment.
  2. Gather test requirements based on industry standards such as ISO9001 and the Social Alarm Standard EN 50134.
  3. Design and develop testing to meet agreed acceptance criteria and stories using a range of languages and technologies.
  4. Ensure QA standards are established, known, coached, and followed within an agile team.
  5. Manage effective test ware control, ensuring test packs are maintained, kept relevant, and (where appropriate) version controlled.

Your skills and experiences might also include:

  1. Understanding of Test Design techniques for optimal coverage.
  2. Demonstrable expertise in the whole testing life cycle.
  3. Experience of working with hardware products and testing of IoT devices.
  4. Experience in providing testing against industry standards, specifications, and business requirements.

What does Access offer you?

We are a growing software company that delivers on our promises. On top of a competitive salary, holiday days, and a pension scheme, you'll also be able to choose from a range of benefits to suit you. We believe in giving back, so you’ll also have a charity day you can take to support something that matters to you.

At Access, we’re all about helping everyone Love Work and Love Life. We believe in diversity and encourage individuals to be themselves at work.

Come and be part of our Amazing Access Family!
Love Work. Love Life. Be You.
