Salary: £110 - £230 per day

Are you passionate about shaping the entrepreneurs and business leaders of tomorrow? We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teachers of Business Studies to join our secondary schools in Braintree. As a Teacher of Business Studies, you will have the opportunity to inspire students with the principles of commerce, economics, and entrepreneurship.
Key Responsibilities: - Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons in Business Studies that cater to the diverse interests and abilities of students.
- Explore various topics in business, economics, and finance, including marketing, accounting, and enterprise, through real-world examples and case studies.
- Foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills in students, encouraging them to analyze business concepts and apply theoretical knowledge to practical situations.
- Provide opportunities for students to develop their communication, teamwork, and leadership skills through group projects and presentations.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their academic and career goals.
- Collaborate with colleagues to organize visits to local businesses, guest speakers, and other enrichment activities that enhance students' understanding of the business world.
Requirements: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a background in Business Studies, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for business and entrepreneurship.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience in teaching Business Studies at the secondary level, with knowledge of relevant examination specifications and assessment criteria.
- Commitment to promoting enterprise and innovation within the school community.
- Willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities and events that support students' personal and professional development.
