principal data analyst (sas programming - pro/coa's
remote based - multiple locations globally
The role:
- A highly technical, senior position within a reputable scientific consulting group, you will manage and prioritise tasks related to data programming to meet project needs
- Responsible for overall quality of the programming and results tables to be delivered to the statistician sponsor
- You will be integral to the success of the organisation and working closely with a variety of stakeholders; technical and research, in order to drive the delivery and quality
- As this role supports a regulatory environment, knowledge of good clinical practices for data management is required to be successful
- Prepare, manage and analyse research data using standard statistical packages (e.g. SAS, S-Plus)
- Review project related documentations such as CRFs, SAPs and proposals and provide feedback to the project team
- Assist in the development of final study reports and presentation of study findings, including the creation of graphical output directly form study data
- Validate and peer review of other programs
- Act as a technical consultant to other staff and assist in mentoring and developing
- Provide SAS user group training sessions at least once a year presenting to programmers and senior outcomes research staff.
Desired Profile:
- 5+ years of SAS programming experience and happy to remain ‘hands-on’
- Work experience with healthcare or clinical trial data is essential
- Experience analysing STDM and ADAM datasets
- Excellent understanding of, and generous experience with SAS/Base, SAS ODS outputs, SAS STAT and any additional SAS modules as required by the specific job position.
