Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing both internal and external Kanban programs. Including set up, trigger points safety stock levels and lead times from suppliers
- Monitor the cradle to the grave supply chain communicating metrics, focused on lead time reduction, on-time delivery, quality improvement, and cost reduction.
- Arranging the schedule for future production plans
- Direct communication with suppliers to communicate foretasted requirements to external suppliers.
- Run assembly scheduling tools and load plan with data throughout the supply chain.
- Evaluation of the MRP generating PO and work orders to support production
- Resolution of quality issues and product discrepancies
- Drive continuous improvement throughout the business minimising waste and obsolete parts
- General admin duties as and when required
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate:
- Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- A proactive thinker with attention to detail.
- Ability to change direction and handle multiple responsibilities and tasks on a regular basis.
- Ability to positively motivate individuals and teams to meet or exceed expectations.
- Extensive knowledge and expert level user of Microsoft Office tools e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
- In depth SAP knowledge
- Knowledge of Intuitive ERP, or other MRP/ERP systems.
- Knowledge of configuration control.
- Strong planning, organisational skills and attention to detail are required.
- Team attitude; eager to cooperate with others, has exceptional interpersonal-communication skills.
