About the Role: General SEND Teacher
As a General SEND Teacher, you will be at the forefront of shaping the educational landscape for students with SEND. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, includes:

Requirements as a General SEND Teacher:
To soar in this role, you should bring:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a proven track record of teaching students with SEND.
  • A comprehensive understanding of different learning difficulties and the ability to tailor teaching methods accordingly.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service.
Responsibility and Requirement as a General SEND Teacher:
  • Delivering engaging lessons tailored to the diverse needs of students with SEND.
  • Collaborating effectively with the SENCO and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Developing positive relationships with parents and caregivers.
  • Upholding GSL's commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service.
