Job description
We are currently in search of a skilled and driven Treasury Analyst to join our finance team, with a direct reporting line to the Group Finance Director. The primary focus of the Treasury Analyst will be to assume complete ownership of the comprehensive management of the company’s cash flows, offering insightful perspectives on performance analytics from a treasury standpoint within the organisation.
The successful candidate will have the responsibility of meticulously reporting on the actual, budgeted and forecasted figures pertaining to all aspects of treasury. This encompasses a thorough examination of cash flow dynamics, debt management, and the intricate realm of operational treasury risk.
The Treasury Analyst requires to be an organised individual with a focus on detail, a strategic approach to financial analysis and the ability to contribute significantly to the organisation’s overall financial health, stability and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report and oversee the daily management of Group cash balances
- Administer and oversee all Group operational banking relationships
- Conduct regular 13-week rolling cash flow forecasts to ensure comprehensive financial planning
- Execute month-end bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records
- Collaborate with your Sales Operations colleagues to continue the development of best
- Contribute Treasury insights to the annual budgeting process
- Monitor and report on all bank and shareholder debt monthly
- Prepare and document quarterly assessments of bank covenant compliance
- Update, manage and ensure adherence to the Group Treasury Policy
- Collaborate consistently with FP&A and accounting teams to prepare detailed cash flow forecasts and treasury insights to the performance of the business
- Take ownership of the relationship with the Treasury management system (Kyriba) and oversee all associated reporting
- Provide valuable insights and recommendations regarding risk management, particularly concerning currency and interest rate fluctuations that may impact the business
- Strive for continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting systems, and analytical tools to enhance the precision and efficiency of Group cash flow reporting, as well as currency and debt management
Knowledge & Skills
- Demonstrated expertise in cash management and treasury analysis, with a track record of progressively increasing responsibilities is highly advantageous
- Possesses robust organisational, analytical and quantitative skills
- Proficient in financial modelling and forecasting techniques
- Exhibits exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, coupled with the ability to prioritise and manage tasks effectively in a dynamic environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, adept at conveying financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
- Skilled in task organization and adept at establishing priorities to meet deadlines
- Thrives in a high-paced working environment, showcasing prior experience in such settings
- Strong proficiency in Excel is a prerequisite, with a high level of user experience and technical knowledge of Kyriba considered highly beneficial
- Background in SaaS or Subscription services would be advantageous, though not essential
