OneRichmond is a new, start-up charity that has been set up by two well-established local funders, RPLC and Hampton Fund, who are providing key financial backing.
Dedicated to addressing hidden issues of deprivation and inequalities in the London Borough of Richmond, they are on a mission to improve the lives and opportunities of disadvantaged and vulnerable people in the borough.
They are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit, who relishes the opportunity to think creatively, propose new ideas and experiment with novel approaches.
This is a permanent role, where the post holder will be working in a hybrid model from offices in Richmond Upon Thames. OneRichmond is open to considering both full-time and part-time candidates, with a minimum hour requirement of three days per week.
The Fundraising and Communications Lead will play a pivotal role in crafting and executing a fundraising strategy and communication initiatives for the charity. The charity wants to improve knowledge around issues facing residents of the borough and revive the spirit of local philanthropy.
In this role, you will be responsible for securing funds, building strong donor relationships and creating effective communication campaigns to raise awareness and support for their mission.
The ideal candidate will be a strong and experienced all-round fundraising and/or communications professional, who would relish the challenge of shaping a new charity. Reporting to the Development Director, you will be a self-starter and someone who can operate strategically while being able to cover a wide range of fundraising and communications responsibilities.
