Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer – Body Structures or Chassis

Location: Weekly commute to either Warwick or Oxford

Forseven, a revolutionary company looking to transform the EV industry through cutting-edge technology and innovative engineering practices, is seeking an exceptional Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer – Body Structures or Chassis to join our highly skilled and dynamic Strategic Sourcing team. This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity out of one of our offices in the Midlands or Oxfordshire, where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field.

What you will do:

Forseven is seeking a highly motivated Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer – Body Structures or Chassis to join our team in ensuring the successful launch of our new vehicle programmes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) tools, a strong background in supplier quality management, and experience working with engineering partners and purchasing teams to develop and deploy sourcing strategies.

• Ensure the selection of capable suppliers for our new vehicle programmes
• Manage the delivery of new components into production using APQP tools
• Provide significant input into the design of components and manufacturing processes
• Develop and deploy sourcing strategies in collaboration with engineering development partners and purchasing teams
• Lead APQP activities on vehicle components/sub-systems
• Work closely with the engineering partner to ensure that Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles are followed

We would like you to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Manufacturing discipline highly desired
• Min. 3 years of experience in a complex manufacturing environment essential, preferably in the automotive industry
• Must be experienced in TS16949/VDA requirements
• Previous experience of Body Structures or Chassis commodities
• Experience with APQP tools and processes
