Job Description
The successful Credit Controller will have:
- Communicating with customers to address any payment discrepancies
- Ensuring timely collection of payments in accordance with agreed payment terms
- Performing credit checks on potential customers and setting credit limits
- Preparing monthly reports on credit control activity
- Working closely with the sales team to implement credit control processes
- Reducing the risk of bad debts and write-offs
- Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices
- Participating in team meetings and sharing best practice with colleagues
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Controller should have:
- A solid understanding of credit control principles
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills with an attention to detail
- Qualifications in Accounting or Finance
