Job description

TST-CF Express is Canada's leading provider of time sensitive, less than truckload (LTL) North American transportation services. Since 1928, we've offered unparalleled quality service and customer support, while utilizing the most current technology available to the industry. We are now looking for an experienced Terminal Manager to join our Cambridge Service Centre team:

Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the entire operations of our Cambridge Service Centre.
• Effectively manage a team of employees to ensure our Terminal and Corporate objectives are achieved.
• Perform duties in accordance with the Corporate Standards of Business Conduct
• Evaluate different alternatives and utilize discretion to make independent decisions within your scope of responsibility
• Manage and coach your team for continual improvement in performance
• Recognize and reinforce staff achievements

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Transportation
• Experience in a unionized environment would be an asset
• Listening, leadership and teamwork skills
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated and a desire to continually improve
• Energetic, creative thinker with a competitive desire to continually meet goals and exceed expectations
