WORKSHOP CONTROLLER
OTE: £50,000 - £55,000pa
Salary - up to £50,000pa
Working Hours - Monday-Friday 45 hours per week
Location - Staines
Our client is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to move into a Workshop Controller position and assist the Service Manager in the day to day running of a large commercial vehicle fleet.
Responsibilities of a Workshop Controller
·Supervising and motivating our team of Service Technicians and proactively reviewing daily workload to seek opportunities that will help drive performance.
·Carry out work and inspections on HGV fleet.
·Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction by implementing quality checks, resolving any issues, and re-assuring customers by providing all necessary information and advice.
·Maintaining relationships with vehicle manufacturer and providing technical information for Technicians during repair operations
·Complying with Health & Safety regulations and ensuring high standards of housekeeping and security are achieved and maintained within the workshop and surrounding areas
To be successful within the role you will need:
·HGV Technician experience
·Class 2 licence
·Level 3 qualified Technician
