A well established East Lancs organisation, with great commuter links are now looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join their team. Reporting to the Head of Finance your will be responisble for the following.

Key Tasks:

• Consolidation and interpretation of financial data from all parts of the business
• Production of operating profit and loss account and balance sheet
• Monitoring of expenditure against budget
• Analysis of management accounts month on month and year on year
• Preparation of year end accounting and taxation reports
• Advising Managers on management accountancy issues

Key Accountabilities:

• To produce meaningful and accurate management accounts which meet all regulatory and business requirements
• To analyse, interpret and monitor financial data and keep the business advised of any relevant information which enables them to make effective decisions

Essential skills/qualifications and experience:

• Fully qualified (ACCA / CIMA)
• Experience of analysing financial data
• Good communication skills
• Accurate reporting skills/attention to detail
• Proficient computer skills

Desirable skills/qualifications experience:

• Previous management accountancy experience
