We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Spanish Teacher to join our team at a partnering Secondary School in North Shropshire.

This part-time position offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated educator to inspire and empower students in their Spanish language learning journey at GCSE level.

Job Description…

• Plan and deliver high-quality Spanish lessons in line with the GCSE curriculum

• Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student progress and attainment, providing constructive feedback to support their development.

• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of students.

• Establish a positive and inclusive learning environment

• Collaborate with colleagues within the Modern Foreign Languages department and across other subject areas

• Positive communication with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on student progress, academic performance, and any relevant concerns or achievements.

Requirements…

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in Spanish language teaching.

- Relevant degree in Spanish language, linguistics, or a related field.

- Proven experience teaching Spanish at GCSE level, preferably within a UK secondary school setting.

- Strong proficiency in the Spanish language, with excellent spoken and written communication skills.

- Ability to inspire and motivate students to develop a passion for language learning and achieve their full potential.

- Commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning, in line with OFSTED requirements and school policies.

- Willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school community through participation in extracurricular activities or events.
